It’s been quite a trip…

Vietnam is beautiful, things are cheap, everyone wants to rip you off, and is super fun.

Cambodia, is beatiful, cheap, fun, and will put weed in your food or drinks if you ask them to.

Laos is just like Cambodia but they will also put mushrooms or opium in if you ask.

Thailand is fun, kind of expensive, but still a blast. (Can’t wait to visit the islands)

I’ve been here for about 5 weeks and its gone by like a flash. Time flies when you’re having fun.

I’ve gone through some of my photos and picked out 12 that I liked. check ‘em out.

Today I leave!

It’s 2:15.  And I leave for the ferry in a bit over 3 hours!  We catch the 7pm ferry.  And our flight is at 2:55am.  Lots of waiting around to make sure we dont miss a boat/bus/flight.  BOOO!

Super excited to go… altough I still don’t think the fact that I’ll be on the other side of the world in about a day and a bit has hit me yet.  

Well I better go pack up my bag and maybe ditch a few things that I don’t realy need.

Family picture time!

[SinglePic not found] It’s that time of year again.  My parent’s anniversary.  Each year, we take a family picture with everyone in attendance and it’s situated somewhere around the house that has some sort of significance for the year.  When we bought a new car, we took it in front of the car.  When the house flooded, to took it in the middle of a gutted room.  This year we took it in the backyard which is going to be ripped apart and re-landscaped.

It was also the last night I’ll be in Alberta for quite some time.  Tomorrow evening we set sail for Victoria for a week and then off to Vietnam on the 13th.  Won’t be back till December 22nd.

I’ll be posting as many photos as possible while away.  I’ll also try to keep a bit of a record of the things we see so I can update on here.
