Wednesday

Rock up, met up with our good friend Steve, head to the village.

WIthin the first 20 minutes I ran into about 80% of my friends. Within the first 2 hours, one of those friends is dancing naked in the village during the free concert.

Perfect re-introduction to home.

We then went out for 25 cent wings, beers included, of course. Hung out with more friends, got a bit drunk. good times.

Headed over to the Maxx Fish where we got into JELO for free, because of Steve’s excellent hookups. He killed that place. Never seen so many people jammed into that place. It was rediculous from what I can remember.

Thursday woke up with no hangover.

Wandered around the village for a while, got some food, started drinking again.

Blackalicious was playing the free concert, so we went, listened to some awesome hip-hop, drank vodka-rockstars, had a good time. After the show I hung out with some snowboard.com buddies then headed to the graffiti party at Garfs. Lots less busy than the previous year, but still a great time.

Friday woke up with no hangover again.

Much the same as the day before. Wander, then drink. Julian Marley was playing, so again, we drank and listened to some excellent music. Reggae is wonderful. The world needs more of it.

Again, hung out with the snowboard.com folks, then headed to Tommy’s for the Girl Powder party. Always a good one to go to. The music was excellent. They played everything and all of my favorite songs from each genre.

Saturday woke up with no hangover… again.

Went riding. It was fun. But cold. -18°C at the top. I was ready for spring slush, not mid-winter conditions. Still a good time just dicking around the lower slushy parts.

After riding, back for 25 cent wings and beer. After we went and got showered up, and came back for De La Soul. Good show, but it was freezing cold. So it was a bit less fun. Then we warmed up, pre-drank a bunch, and waited for the DJ Experience to start up. Such a fun time, it was great. 4 hit and we all got kicked out and then headed over to our friend Adam’s house for his going away party. Lots of people there. Great music by DJ Surgeon aka Rob. Hung out and danced like fools til 10:30 when we finally decided to call it a night.

Sunday woke up around 6:30… no hangover.

dicked around for a bit, got some McDonalds,
then cleaned up then went to Tommy’s for Mat the Alien and Fort Knox Five. That place was so packed. It was stupid. Still fun power drinking to see how drunk you can get.

Monday woke up sans hangover and started to pack up.

It was the weekend I dubbed “The weekend of memories I’ll probably never remember”

ANd it held true. Lots of forgotten details. But many vague memories that’ll stay with me for a long time like Jordan’s quote “When I grow up, I wanna be an alcoholic!”

Beautiful!
